María Teresa De Terry Ollero accuses him of alleged «threats, harassment, and humiliation,» and he denies the charges during his court appearance.
DOS HERMANAS (SEVILLE), 26 (EUROPA PRESS)
The Fourth Instruction Court of Dos Hermanas (Seville) has taken a statement from the spokesperson of Vox in the City Council of that locality, Adrián Trashorras, as part of the preliminary proceedings initiated against him based on the complaint filed by councilor María Teresa De Terry Ollero, who split from the Vox municipal group in 2024.
During his judicial appearance, which lasted over an hour, Trashorras reportedly agreed to respond to all aspects of the procedure and denied the accusations of harassment and intimidation made by his former party colleague, framing the complaint as a breakdown in friendship and political relationship between them.
It is worth noting that as Maria Teresa De Terry Ollero explained in 2024 when she left the Vox Group in the City Council of Dos Hermanas to continue as an unaffiliated councilor, on November 10, 2023, upon receiving the quarterly allocation for the municipal group’s operation from the City Council, she proceeded to pay the expenses of the councilors and various pending invoices. It was then that she noticed invoices related to alleged «personal expenses» of Trashorras, referring to the «changing of tires on his personal car or dry cleaning expenses,» which, in her opinion, «should not be charged to the municipal group,» a detail reflected in her complaint.
EXPENSES AND THE PARTY
After informing the municipal spokesperson of the issue and insisting that such expenses «can be paid,» according to the complaint of the unaffiliated councilor, she raised the issue to the national security officer of Vox. Following this, Trashorras, allegedly and according to the complaint, reproached her for a «betrayal in his own words,» as stated in the complaint, due to an alleged «leak of confidential documentation from the Group to third parties,» regarding the invoices and the submission to the Organizational Vice-Secretariat in Madrid of an «internal statute» allegedly promoted by Trashorras for the group.
From then on, according to the councilor, she allegedly became a victim of acts of «harassment, threats, and humiliation» by the municipal spokesperson, experiencing a scenario of alleged «harassment and dismantling by Trashorras against moral, professional, and personal dignity,» as stated in her complaint.
«HARASSMENT AND HUMILIATION»
According to her, the situation became «unsustainable,» and «the political party was becoming aware every day of the harassment, humiliation, threats, and discomfort she was experiencing in the performance of her professional duties by Trashorras,» whom she accuses of allegedly «isolating» her from political activity, «arranging meetings and public visits without informing or involving her, when he had always done so before.»
In February 2024, according to her complaint, she sent «an email to the president and the intermunicipal officer with a copy to the other two councilors of the group,» including Trashorras, expressing her «disagreement with everything that was happening and how mistreated and isolated» she felt in the political group by the accused; to whom she also attributed possible political «corruption» due to alleged «irregular billing» of personal expenses to the funds of the Vox municipal group.
Regarding the accusations of alleged «harassment» made by the outgoing Vox councilor, linking them to her opposition to paying these expenses with public funds, the municipal spokesperson also denied such claims and asserted that she «continuously made unfounded complaints to mask her poor political performance,» criticizing the «insults and libel created by the defected councilor,» accusing her of «disclosing secrets to the detriment of third parties and of irregularly sharing personal data.»
INTERNAL CHANGES
As for the dry cleaning bills, he argued his «continued participation» in public activities and that he had opted for «the most austere option among the possibilities (100 euros), compared to the expense that would have been incurred by renting suits or tuxedos,» stating that the dissident councilor had a municipal salary but «until early January» of 2024, when she was replaced in that regard by the then third member of the group.
Regarding the allegations of alleged «harassment» mentioned by the departing Vox councilor, linking them to her opposition to paying these expenses with public money, the municipal spokesperson also denied this claim and stated that she «did not cease to make unfounded complaints to mask her poor political performance,» critiquing the «defamatory statements and lies created by the defected councilor,» accusing her of «revealing secrets to the detriment of third parties and irregularly sharing personal data.»
