
Roberto Sánchez Benítez Recognized for 24 Years of Health Advocacy
Roberto Sánchez Benítez, director and presenter of ‘Salud al Día’, was honored on Friday by the Dermatology Service at the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in Seville during their 50th-anniversary celebration.
Sánchez Benítez received a personal recognition from the head of this medical service, Julián Conejo-Mir, professor of dermatology at the University of Seville and honorary president of the Spanish Academy of Dermatology, for his more than 24 years of publicizing health advice and recommendations on Andalusian public television to improve skin health and prevent diseases in the population.
The anniversary event was attended by prominent figures such as the President of the Andalusian Parliament, Jesús Aguirre, and the Minister of Social Inclusion, Youth, Families, and Equality, Loles López, as reported by RTVA. The gala also included a recognition for journalist Carlos Herrera.
The public service program ‘Salud al Día’ airs every Saturday at 1:45 p.m. on Canal Sur Televisión, making it the most-watched health and quality of life format in Spain.
