Montero sees «nerves and fear» in the PP-A because they know that «the united and winning source of the PSOE is unstoppable and invincible»
The Secretary General of the PSOE in Seville, Javier Fernández, stated on Saturday within the framework of the provincial congress of the party, which ended with a 94.1 percent support for its new executive committee, led again by Fernández and once again with Rafael Recio in Organization and Amparo Rubiales as president; that the Sevillian socialist organization is going to be the «heart of change» that will lead the Secretary General of the PSOE-A, first vice president of the Government and Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, to the Presidency of the Junta of Andalusia.
In his speech, Javier Fernández thanked the support garnered in this new gathering of Sevillian socialists; whom he conveyed that in the streets, «there are people waiting for a reason to return» to vote for the PSOE and return to «the path of progressivism that the Socialist Party always defends.»
«People ask us to be decent, hardworking, and approachable, if we are and also care about their problems; those people will vote for the PSOE in all electoral contests without any problem,» emphasized Javier Fernández, also the president of the provincial council.
THE WEIGHT OF THE PSOE IN SEVILLE
Fernández also defended that the PSOE in Seville is the «largest» socialist organization in Andalusia and Spain, the «engine» of the party; ensuring that the Sevillian PSOE will «project the heart of change» and «lead» María Jesús Montero to the presidency of the Junta.
To achieve this, as he said, «we must convince every day» and present «certainties and solutions to the citizens.» «If we are useful, people will believe in us and vote for us,» emphasized Javier Fernández, who also showed the «unwavering support» of the Seville PSOE to the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, whom he defined as «the best antidote» against the policies of the President of the United States, Donald Trump; and his policies such as his new tariffs with all their impact on the Spanish and Andalusian economy in particular.
«THE BEST PRESIDENT»
Pedro Sánchez, as he said, is «the mirror of how future can be projected from the left» and is «the best president of Spain in results in social, economic, and territorial aspects.»
María Jesús Montero, on her part, has appealed to the «winning gene» of the PSOE, warning that the «relentless attacks» she receives from the Andalusian PP are proof that the President of the Junta and leader of the PP-A, Juanma Moreno, «is nervous,» but not because of her, as she clarified; but because he and the rest of the Popular Party are aware that «the united and winning source of the PSOE is unstoppable and invincible.»
«They are afraid of us,» Montero asserted, calling for «working to seduce the Andalusian society once again,» because the citizens «are eager to have reasons to place their trust» in the PSOE to regain the Government of the Junta, which has led her to argue that the PSOE does not want power just «to be» in the Government, but to «use public policies and change the destiny that the cradle gave to the people, not always fair.»
