During her speech at the event, Marta Alonso, the deputy of Concertación of the Diputación de Sevilla, emphasized the important role played by local business associations, providing «information, advice, and support to entrepreneurs and establishing a constant and fluid dialogue» with the administrations to achieve the common goal of «improving the competitiveness and positioning of businesses.» Hence the commitment of the Diputación to «constantly approach the needs and sectoral issues of local entrepreneurs,» with lines of collaboration, promotion, and support for entrepreneurship, among others, and «as strong advocates of public-private collaboration.»
She also highlighted that in this forum, organized by the CES with the support of the Diputación, «the main sectors of the province are represented,» demonstrating «enormous adaptability to the changes and challenges of the international situation.» These meetings «contribute to the cohesion of that competitive business fabric of Seville and to continue advancing,» she added.
On the other hand, Miguel Rus emphasized that the meeting «is not just a day of work, but the reflection of a process we started ten years ago with a clear objective: to make visible, dynamize, and strengthen the business fabric of our municipalities» and stressed the importance of «continuing to add synergies between companies, entrepreneurs, and institutions, to advance in an economic model, more innovative, sustainable, and competitive.»
The mayor of Écija, Silvia Heredia, praised the importance of the union of entrepreneurs from Écija and expressed her firm support for the CEDE, «which is filling a space that the city needed and is providing a strong boost for the entire local business fabric, not only large industries, but also SMEs and small business owners.»
During the event, David Serrano, CEO and founding partner of MKG20 Talento Digital, gave a presentation titled ‘IA without smoke: the real case that is revolutionizing my company and my team,’ in which he shared his practical experience on how AI has transformed his company from within, bringing improvements in efficiency, corporate culture, and results.
Additionally, two round tables were held to address the present and future of the company. In the first one, entitled ‘The rise of AI and automation in companies,’ the discussion focused on how these technologies are changing the way data is managed, products and services are produced and marketed. This panel featured José María Pedraza Infante, CEO of VS Sistemas and vice president of the Innovation, Technology, and Talent Commission of the CES; Juan Germán Tapia Perales, from Engineering Innovation; and Javier Imanol Pérez Morgan, Partner Account Manager at Continia Software. The panel was moderated by Fernándo Pérez Perez.
The second round table, entitled ‘Entrepreneurship and financing in Andalusia: keys to success,’ focused on the financial opportunities available to startups and SMEs, access to European funds, private investment, and growth strategies. The participants included Javier Aguilera, territorial director of Western Andalusia at Unicaja, and Manuel Fortán Millán, provincial director of SGR Garantía, Sociedad de Garantía Recíproca.
The X Provincial Business Meeting of the CES has once again reaffirmed its role as a reference space for the exchange of knowledge, innovation, collaboration, and strengthening of the business ecosystem of Seville. The diversity of attending profiles — entrepreneurs, self-employed individuals, institutional representatives, and experts — confirms the importance of continuing to promote initiatives that connect talent and entrepreneurial capacity in all corners of the province.
