The Seis60 communication agency, located in Seville, has been recognized with the ‘Silver’ award in the PR (Public Relations) category at the tenth edition of the international WINA awards for the press coverage generated for the ‘Sin azul no hay verde’ campaign of Real Betis Balompié.
This award, whose ceremony took place in Ibiza, acknowledges that the PR strategy and execution implemented by the Seis60 agency has been «a communication action with global impact that has turned an ecological threat into a story of hope: the first football shirt made with invasive algae collected from the Andalusian coast, as a way to raise awareness about an environmental problem that severely affects marine biodiversity,» as highlighted by the communication agency in a press release.
Driven by Forever Green, the environmental sustainability platform of Real Betis Balompié, the mentioned campaign has garnered international media coverage from outlets such as National Geographic, CNN Brazil, Sports Illustrated, American Bolavip, South Korean Gujkenews, or French television BFMTV, among others at a national level in Spain.
In total, «over 200 media impacts in 16 countries have been achieved, with an equivalent value exceeding nine million euros.» Additionally, the campaign has managed to «triple the number of impressions, enhance user engagement with published content, and generate over 13 million video views.»
Thus, highlighting the «over 15 million impressions generated and the 1.6 million interactions obtained,» the communication agency also emphasized that even LaLiga has released a report, prepared by independent consultancies Meltwater and Blinkfire, which have monitored and analyzed this communication campaign to «highlight the initiative and its media impact.»
«This award underscores the power of purpose-driven ideas and demonstrates that communicating from sustainability is not only necessary but also effective,» noted Alicia Casado, the director of Seis60 consultancy, which has been active in corporate communication for seventeen years as of 2025.
On the other hand, the Communication Director of Real Betis Balompié Foundation, Mercedes Yélamo, pointed out that «‘Forever Green’ was created to unite sport, environment, and social impact, and this campaign is an example of how far we can go when clubs, agencies, and citizens engage in change.»
For Seis60, this recognition from the WINA (World Independent Advertising Awards), «one of the most relevant international festivals for independent agencies and studios worldwide, reaffirms the commitment of Real Betis and the Seville agency to communication that inspires, mobilizes, and contributes to a more sustainable future.»
